Hi,

I am having a problem saving the event log. I am running Windows Server 2003 SP2 and this is my domain controller. When I try to save the security event log, I get the message that says "Unable to save eent log to file "M:\Logs\Security.evt". Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service."

I am running 2.80GHz processor with 3.00GB of RAM and at the time I am trying to save I am only using about 1.7GB of RAM. Task manager doesn't show any kind of memory leaks, all of the processes stay at about the same memory usage.

Any ideas

Figured it out. Windows does not like the event log to be saved to a mapped network drive. Once I made a folder on a local drive it saved just fine.
