Hi. My company has bought a company that uses TAS written in Btrieve. They supplied a copy of thier system on a CD. created a pif file to a batch file (already written) and it ran. I then copied the CD to out network and did the same. It ran fine. Then I was asked to install it on a laptop and boom, it won't run.

Here is the batch file

set tas=a12;b12;C12;D12
btrieve /p:4096 /m:64 /f:32
tas clogo
btrvclr

The message is "TAS.OVL not found or error when loading"

Thanks for any help

TAS.OVL is not a Btrieve file or related to Btrieve in any way. You really should be posting is a TAS forum. I guess there is the one obvious question, is TAS.OVL in the same directory as btrieve.exe and the rest of the program?
Btrieve is just the database that the TAS application is used to store data.

Yes all the files are in the same directory. It works when run from CD or network, but not when on HD.
