Unable to reset 5610 VPN phone after IP office move

After moving our IP office to a new IP/location I am unable to modify the configuration of several 5610 VPN phones to point to the new IP office IP address. The '* to program' does not display and the 'mute 25327' or 'mute 73738' do not work. This likely was caused by a temporary change in the vpnsettings.txt or 46xxsettings.txt that enabled the system password on these few phones in error. The tftp server has also changed IP's so I can't simply provide a new file for the phones. Does anyone know a way to reset the phones once they are in this state? Any help would be appreciated!

Can only be done with the settingstxt file.

You should use the edit button while the phone tries to connect by VPN.
There you can change the new external IP address.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

I think the Edit button does not show up if the local procedure is disabled.

That could be possible :)
Then indeed only the text file will work to fix this.

Thanks for the replies, I was afraid of that. Unfortunately the edit button only let's me change the VPN settings not the callsv or filesv IP's. I will try and get a tftp server setup with the old file server IP and a new settings file, hopefully that will do the trick. Thanks again.

I recreated the subnet and placed my current settings file on a tftp server which did allow the phones to pick up the new Call Server IP and I can register them with the IP office. I enabled the setting 'SET PROCSTAT 0' in the settings file but still the '* to program' does not appear and I'm still unable to manage the phones even though I can register the extension. Is there another setting that needs to be set in the file to bring back the '* to program'?

On one phone I disabled the VPN prior to having the settings files in place and now I can't do anything with it. It boots and goes directly to searching for the old Call Server IP, even when put on my internal network with all DHCP options enabled. Apparently the phone ignores the DHCP settings pointing it to the correct Call Server and File Server. I don't have any options to enable the VPN and none of the 'reset' or 'clear' commands work. Is this phone a total loss?

Thanks again!
