Unable to repair infected userinit.exe

I am unable to repair userinit.exe infected with W32.LICUM using Norton Anti Virus 2003 (NAV) on PC with Windows 2000.
Have run NAV with Windows in Safe MOde.
Please advise on this matter.

If the system is functioning OK then I would have SAV remove the file or do a windows repair if you require that file.

Best thing in any case would be a full reinstall of the machine.

Or you could use recovery console from the W2K cd to overwrite the file with a non-infected version.
