Unable to Remote Control New Clients

Previously we were running SMS 2003 with a site code of COB. Then we had to re-install SMS and gave it a site code of (can you guess?) "SMS". Now we are able to remote control the OLD clients, but any new computers we add to the network will not work. We get the usual "Remote Control Agent Not Found".

I have to tried to push the advanced client to these XP machines. Their event log does state that the installation was completed. But we are still not able to remote control them!

Have you confirmed that the new clients are receiving policies from the Management Point for "SMS" ?

Check a new client's local SMS logs (system32\ccm\logs), specifically clientlocation.log, locationservices.log, policyagent.log, policyevaluator.log.
