I have few users who are unable to recieve external calls.
When i do a list trace station, I dont see any data.

The error message we hear when we call the number from out side is " The number is disconnected or not in service".

My guess is the extension is not in the dialplan or not cutover to avaya PBX.

How do i check if this is not in Avaya PBX , When i do
status station xxxxx i see it as "in service/on hook"

How do i check if it is not in dial plan?

Do i check ARS? Pls guide how to proceed...Thanks

The "error" message could potentially be coming from the LEC or similar to a problem that I recently had, your COR could be blocking external calls...

What is COR of the phones in question?
What does your COR look like, example below would block external calls

Try the "list trace station" command again, trace YOUR station while making an outside call to the stations that you are having issues with.

I have seen this kind of message coming on a PRI if a destination is not programmed. If would do a list trace on the trunk group in question to see what is coming in.

That is info you will need from your carrier.

If you only have a handfull of Trunk Groups you could just go one by one and test.

"List trace tac <tac#>" and then make the call. See if it hits.

COR looks fine...I would continue to investigate the PRI...

Good Luck and let us know what you find out
