Hi,
I am testing exchange server 2003 standard.
Internal send/ receive all work fine, send to outside domain ok but not send from outside (simply by replying to that sent email from Exchange user), the emails did not come in.
I am using IP addresses as email domain, e.g. abc@123.456.1.1 , and the external recipients able to receive and see the email address as this.
123.456.1.1 is the ADSL router address,
also have enabled the port forwarding in the router:
port 25 to 123.456.1.2 (exchange server address)
port 110 to 123.456.1.2
I read thru' posts and also tested to
"telnet exchgeserver-internalIP 25" - ok
"telnet exchgeserver-externalIP 25" - not ok "Connection to host lost"
What could be the problem? Many thanks.
Regards,
Daryl
