Canon MP780 Pixma, Vista, Word Perfect 8.

I am trying to print pages 5" wide by 9" long. This size is set up under File / Page Setup / Size. When I try to print I get the message

"A paper size that is not supported by the automatic duplex printing function is selected.
Stop printing, uncheck Automatic on the Page Setup tab of the printer driver, and print again."

There is no Automatic on the Page Setup tab.

I am trying to print 2 sides, long edge.

How can I print this document?

Do you have a paper selection called Statement (5 1/2" By 8 1/2. That might work. Sounds like your printer does/can't print non-standard paper types?!

PRPhx: No such selection. I solved the problem by selecting A5 size (5.827 x 8.267 inches), which is a standard, and is close enough. Had to tweak font size, margins, etc., but the whole job is done now, quite satisfactorily.

TangoO: If that's a poor attempt at humor, this is the wrong venue for it. People post questions for the purpose of getting answers, not to give guys like you an opportunity to show how clever and superior you are. Shame!! Do I Red Flag it as Inappropriate?

Or did I miss something?
