unable to pass smtp username and password to lotus domino

I believe I had to create a GROUP Called domino then add users or groups to the domino group to allow passage. Then I had to make that server a HOST with no password required outbound, create a rule to allow this process. Using the SMTP Daemon I setup the mail delivery system.
