I am receiving the following message: "Unable to open your default mail folders. The Information Store could not be opened" I have tried it with both a Outlook 97 and 2000 client. I have also tried uninstalling and re-installing Outlook without any luck. Outlook resides on the Exchange 5.5 server, so I can't reinstall the OS. I also need Outlook to work, so that my ArcServe 2000 remote backup will get the bricks layer. I have tried several different mailboxes, which are known to work on other systems using Outlook. Thanks.

Are you sure you're not having any NT authentication problems? I often see people have that problem after they change passwords or have a password become disabled while still logged onto a machine.

Make sure your account isn't locked out, then try logging all the way out and then back in again.

It's simple and might be the problem.

We are using NDS4NT, so it could be an issue with authentication. The concept behind the product is good, but reliability is a little shakey. When it works, it's very nice having people's e-mail and network synchronized. One less password for users to forget.

I wanted to avoid logging off the box since this is my Exchange box, but I'll give it a shot. Thanks.
