Unable to open you default e-mail folders.

I am trying to setup a new email account and am getting the above message. It also say "You do not have permission to log on." I am using Outlook loaded on the individual PC with a email server.

It sounds like you are just accessing a profile for someone else's mail account. Is there more than one Outlook profile created? You can look at the profiles through the CONTROL PANEL via the MAIL icon. Click on Show Profiles and see how many profiles exist and which is set as the default. joegz

joegz is correct. Go to the Mail icon and make sure the correct mailbox is set up. While in the profiles go to Services and make sure the correct server and mailbox are selected.
