Unable to open control file stciqmgrd.ctl

Hi

I am working on VSAM eway for a HIPAA implementation project and when I start my control broker I got this error"Unable to open control file c:\egate\client\bin\stciqmgrd.ctl".But that file exists in that folder. Can anyone has any idea why I am getting this error??

check your IQmgr port settings and make sure that your IQmgr can talk to the registry host on that port. I had the same problem due to an inverted firewall that excluded my port range.
