we are using version 2003
its a standard custom list
i have developer access (i can see in data view as can 40 other users (with read/write access) i have two whom can't)
I am the designer
error message
the list cannot be displayed in datasheet view for one or more of the following reasons A datasheet component with windows sharepoint services is not installed, your browser does not support ActiveX controls or support for active x controls is disabled
If the machines are all identical, have you tried logging in with the same user accounts? Perhaps it's a user account setting?
I mean Windows user account.
