Hello:

I have run into a problen in attempting to specify an Ip address for a machine running W98 I want on the network. The network does not have DCHP server
IP address are enter manually.

I click on network in control panels. Click on the TCP/IP-> ethernet adapter network component, Click properties, click on specify IP address. It will not allow me to enter an IP address.

I performed an IPconfig/all and it states DHCP is enabled. I don't no how to disable it.

I have removed the network component restarted and added the component again. I thought it would prompt me if I wanted DHCP enabled.

Any Ideas

Regards
