UNABLE TO MOVE MAILBOX TO ANOTHER SERVER

Usually happens if the mailbox you're trying to move is orphaned.

Does it have a user attached ??

Yes it does have an account associated to it.

We have 4 sites, 1 main office and 3 regional offices, each site has it's own Exchange 2000 server.

i've noticed that my problem applies to all 3 regional offices, in other words this feature is greyed out for all users except for users at the Headoffice.

Very odd...

yes, all on the same domain.

does each site have it's own 5.5 server?

no, they all have their own exchange 2000...but they were upgraded from 5.5, not a clean install.
