I have a windows 2003 server running exchange server 2003 in vmware. I was able to join to the domain, install exchange server and configure it. Everything was working fine after i decided to backup all my vmwares to tape because i was running out of space. When i restore all my vmware (exchange server, file server, etc), im not able to logon to the domain. I get the following error mesage
Windows cannot connect to the domain either because the domain controller is down or otherwise unavailable, or because your computer account was not found. Please try again later. If this message continues to appear contact your System Administrator for assistance
anybody has encounter any issues when working with vmware in this type of situation

any help would be apreciated

Is your DNS setup correctly to point to the 2003 Server? That is usually the culprit for this type of problem.

Yes it is, in fact everythging was working fine until i decided to backup my vmwares to tape. When I restored my vmwares that's when i can not logon to my doamain controller, that's when I get that error i mentioned before
