I am running CR10 / CE10. windows 2000 IIS 5

when I try to open a crystal report and am prompted to log onto the CMS, I get and errror. The error is "unable to retreive cluster members. Transport Error : Communication Failure"

If I am on the server, directly, then all is well, if I am at a desktop, then it doesnt work.

Please any help would be great.

To resolve this behavior, specify an available

port number for an IP address. This specifically

binds the IP address to a port number to resolve

this behavior when it is caused by multiple network

cards or name resolutions.

Steps to Resolve

----------------

1. Launch the Crystal Configuration Manager.

2. Stop the Crystal Management Server (CMS).

3. Edit the command line of the CMS and specify a

port number for the IP address. Ensure that you are

specifying a port number that is not already in use.

Example:

- Port <IP Address>:<port number>

4. Start the CMS.

Upon completing these steps, you are able to

successfully log on to the CMS from Crystal

Reports or from Crystal Publishing Wizard.

Thanks so much!

unfortunetly, it does not work. is there a particular order in which I should place the -port stuff? right now it is after -name and before -retart.
