Hi,

To make a standalone NT Server join a domain, we just have to go to Server Manager of the PDC. Then use the option Add to Domain and simply enter the name of the Windows NT Standalone Server name.Thats it.Login from the Standalone Server using the username that is available in PDC's User Manager for Domains.

Trust relationships should be established to connect between different domains and not for the computers within the same domain.

Anyway just try deleting the (Standalone Server) computer account on the PDC and then add it again.

Regards,
Rajalakshmi.
dassraji@hotmail.com

Hi !

I tried yr method before, but still prompt me the same erros. Should i make any
changes for my standAlone server ?

On PDC, check server mgr. If you see the member server, remove it from domain while member is off. Restart member with net cable disconnected. Then join domain.
Zel
zel@zelandakh.co.uk
