I keep getting error messages saying that my paging file is too small or doesn't exist and I need to fix it. I go to the Performance Tab and Windows says the size of my paging file is 20 MB, but when I go to change it my paging file is set to 340MB. I've tried making it bigger and smaller, but every time I reboot I get the bad page file error and again, the page file size is back to 20 MB. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Joe Brouillette

Joe,
I just saw your post after I posted mine. I'm getting
the exact same error. If I get any info I'll pass it
on. Please let me know if you find out anything.

Bummer! Mine got to the point where I wasn't even able to login anymore and I just wiped and reinstalled. Thanks for the link. I'll use it.

A paging Error can also be because of the Privlages that is set for you Administrator Settings. What I do is ALWAYS rename the Administrator Account before allowing full access to files. Then Setup another user account called Administrator and give it NO access priv. But make sure you rename the original Admin account to something else before creating a new one. The the Administrator account that you renamed set it to FULL access. This will fix your Paging prob and also add security that is much needed to your PC or Network.
