Hi there,

I just got myself an SV8100 system and so far myself and others I have spoken to have been unable to identify which firmware and PC Pro I need to obtain in order to update and manage my system.

Where the region appears on other people's systems on the WebPro login and home pages, it just says Unified Solutions and NEC:

Could anyone please advise which firmware and PC Pro I need to obtain in order to update and manage my system? Additionally, if anyone has access to this and is happy to email it to me, my email is contact@alexhorner.cc

Thanks!

It looks to me like you have Revision 9.50 and any PCPro from 9.50 to 11.10 should allow downloads. You can also go to System Data 90-16 to see the Main Software Version.

Well it's in English. US version is always on opening page so not US. UK or AU? I mean you bought it second hand where was it shipped from?

CoralTech: You actually answered this before in a slightly newer post I made haha! I made this post before I made the other post. It's UK it seems. Only a PC Pro copy I got from a UK provider worked with it, not the Aussie or US. Still can't find the UK firmware but did manage to find the PC Pro.

Is it actually UK or is it European? I'm surprised it doesn't actually specify either. I'll have to look at the information Tech NEC pointed to later when I get back to my desk and can log in.

No idea as I am in the US. They do things WAY different over here. Someone here should know I would think.

I mean 9.5 is a good software level if memory serves why waste a lot of time and effort? If you have PCPro for it you have everything you need for a backup. Heck you can even use a USB stick and backup through a phone.

CoralTech: Yet to test if the PC Pro backup works better than the WebPro one (which forgot a load of stuff) but the main reason for upgrading would just be for bugfixes I think? I know WebPro has some issues, not sure about the feature changes.

I'm happy on 9.5 with PC Pro too, reason for wanting firmware for that was a just in case.
