UNABLE TO FIND CONNECTION MANAGER

I have a communication program that dials out on an analog line. When I go to connect it now says "UNABLE TO FIND CONNECTION MANAGER". I also use another communication program for other types of systems and it uses the same modem/comm. port and works fine.

Is something else using the Port of any Modem involved? What is "Connection Manager" that the message is referring too?

Have you tried running the machine from Safe Mode With Networking as a test?

What is in the Event Viewer?

I finally realized the problem occurred while the anti virus was running. Once turned off I was able to connect with NRU to all my locations. I upgraded the version of the anti virus software and now both are running at the same time again.
