Hello all,

I am getting the error: Unable to encrypt saved mail as mailfile is not on workspace.

The mailfile is on the workspace. On the location document, it is listed as mail\rsotomay. I am unable to forward mail and cannot fix it. Any idea why this is happening?

Thanks!

I would Check to see if the Mail File is in the Directery C:\lotus\notes\data\mail\rsotomay in the Location Document, also make sure they have the right ID file loaded also

Hi,

This always happens when the mailfile specified in your current location document does not exist.

1. Check the database properties of the mailfile you see on your workspace. Is the path and filename exactly the same as the entry in the location document? Re-type it to be sure.

2. Is the database on your local machine or on your server? Does that correspond with the setting in the location document you are using?
If the database is local it will probably be in the data directory and not in the mail\ directory, so remove the "mail\".

If nothing seems to work: delete and re-create the location document.

Kind regards,
