Unable to display the Inbox folder

User gets the "unable to display the folder" pane when accessing the Inbox using Outlook 2003. I do too when trying access it.

However, we can view the subfolders and items within the Inbox folder. All the other folders within the mailbox can also be viewed and accessed.

Also, I can view the Inbox through OWA.

Any ideas?

Just curious if you reached a solution to this problem, as I have started to encounter the same exact problem, and have reached a standstill trying to resolve.

Alvin,

After trying a number of things, I exmerged the all the contents from the mailbox, and deleted the mailbox. I then created a new mailbox and exmerged the data into the new mailbox.
