Unable to display Images on Crystal report Viewer

I am facing some problems with Images.
I am on crystal Enterprise server, using Active X Control for crystal viewer. Database is SQL 2k and Win2k operating system
I Created a table in SQL2k and have siteID and SiteLogo as fields. Then by using transformation tool saved images for each site in "Jpeg" form.
I am passing the site id as parameters by using stored procrdure. Initially I just picked one site logo on report header for display and saved my report.
I need to display the logo fields for each site on page header depends upon the parameter i would pass from UI.
Each logo has a different length and width. I also used the can grow option of that field in report.
When i run this report on Report designer it works fine for each site id and display exact size for each appropriate logo. But when I run it from UI it display only a certain part of other logos (either shrink or stretched ) on crystal report viewer, never showed a complete one except for those which fit in the size of actual one i dropped, when i created that report.

Please help me, will appreciate.

I had the same issues using Crystal Enteprise 8. I installed the CE 8.5 Active X viewer and the issue was resolved. Also, you should note that text.dll patches may adversely affect blob-based images.

Hi guys,

I have a similar problem....

I have an application with an Oracle backend. I have hooked up Seagate Crystal Reporst and get the data from the database. This data includes a .tiff image (Oracle BOLB data element).

The image when viewed in a crystal report appears fine along with the other data I am pulling out of the DB. The problem is when I view the same data in the smart viewer for ActiveX. The image is no longer rendered, but the other text data is fine. Would you have an idea why this happens? Khan I saw you had a similar problem but with a JPEG file. Any luck with that??

i have an Image field and ID in the SQL2K db table how to read & show it on the crystal report I am using version 8. Help!!!

Sorry i a am unable to resolve this issue, even i used subreports and other options.

Now i have as many reports as clients and inserted each one's loge on it and distributed seperately. Unable to it dynamically.

I hope , u will get any solution.

What type of field is it?

If this field is stored in your database, oyu should just be abel to drag it onto the report. If not please see the FAQ section for some options on how to do this.
