My TACs are 101 & 102 but I'm unable to dial them, is this because of the dial plan digit 1? If so what impact would I need to consider before changing it to 3 in length?

Maintenance tests are set to y in the trunk groups.

Thanks

Uniform Dialing Plan: none ETA Routing Pattern:

FIRST DIGIT TABLE
First Length

6:
7: extension
8: dac
9: dac

you will have to make sure the 2nd digit table is well set as 3 digits "dac" on digit 0.

Hi,

In the trunkgroup, change the option "Dial access?" to yes and it will work.

Cheers,
Nico

If these are ISDN trunks you will not beable to use the TAC code.

Any suggestions please?

Same issue if you give a 8xx or 9xx or 8xx or #xx TAC?
Is your station allowed to dial the COR of your TG?

As RTMCKEE (MIS) said, you can't dial a TAC on a isdn trunk . Sometimes you can put a verify button. I have mixed luck using this button.
Verify Busy Verification: allows users to make
test calls and verify a station or a trunk.

Thanks,

I have always been able to dial TAC's on ISDN30 (E1) trunks on other definitys so I dont think thats the problem.

I'll try changing the TAC to 8xx which is within the dial plan unless anyone else can offer any help?

Trace your station when you dial the TAC that might offer some insight.

Were running V7 and list trace is not an available command

Have changed digit 6 to 3 in length and made it a dac and changed the Trunk TAC code to 601 and still getting the NU tone.

Cor is also set to yes for the test.

Anyone have any ideas please?

Avaya has a 'list trace' like command on V7 that is not available to the customer. Of course, they will probably charge you.
Maybe E-1 trunks are different from T-1 trunks, but I have never known ISDN trunk that could be accessed with the TAC, but I have only worked on AT&T/Lucent/Avaya equipment for 10 years.

ISDN tie trunks can be TAC'd under certain conditions, and there is one configuration that will allow TAC'ing of CO Trunks, But I do not know if it still works in later releases, I have not tried it.
