First of all I would like to wish every member the happiest of Holidays
The problem I have is as follows, regarding an ATA station to allow a computer to dial out and dial in; the computer can dial out and can connect to other computers with no problem, The problem is in dialing into the computer, you can hear the modem trying to connect then disconnects after a period of time.
The remote software is PC Anywhere Ver. 8, the OS is windows 98 2nd; the phone system is a 0x32 rel 4.1
The lines are ISDN; the modem is a US Robotics internal
My question is:
Would a newer ATA2 or slowing down the connection speed of the modem make any difference?
Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
Once again happy Holidays
