Our switch is unable to dial the 641 area code... anyone have any ideas why?

First do a list trace dialing on your phone extension. If you see the call hitting the right trunk it usually is a routing problem with you LEC or your long distance provider.

This sounds like an ARS routing issue.

Is 641 a local area code?

Do a "display ars analysis 1641" and see what route pattern it is using.

Next display the route pattern.

Ex "display route-pattern #"

See if it makes sense to you. If not post screen shots of each and we can take a look.

ummm i got this fixed it was a problem with the FRL in my route-pattern as stated above =)

Have you checked the FRL [lol]

I'm not sure, but I think it was a FRL issue :lol
