I have been trying to deploy and OS package using an image installation CD but during the process I get the message:

" There are no distributions points currently availabe for this operating system package. Please select antother operation system package or contact your administrator for assitance."

In the admin console within the package, the program has been created and the distribution points have been set as well. I have tried creating several other packages but all have the same error. What am I am missing?

You have deffinately linked in the Dis Point for THAT package?

Do you get this message when you and try and create other packages (with differnet contents), or is it just this OS one?

Thanks for the response ncotton

This is just an OS package, bare bones OS that I am trying to deploy to a machine on our testing domain.

When looking in the admin console a Dis Point has been linked to that package. There is another test OS package as well that I made from scratch. To add a distribution point I am:

1)Expanding the package structure
2)Right-clicking on the "Distribution Points" attribute
3)Selecting New-> Distribution Points
4)Distribution point wizard starts
5)Copy package page comes up showing my distribution point
6)Select the distribution point(only one there).
7)Click finish and the distribution point is now showing
8)Again Right-clicking on the "Distribution Points" attribute
9)Selecting All Tasks-> Update Distribution Points
10)I get a prompt telling me, I am updating the distribution points, this may take soem time, etc. I click yes.

Just to be on the safe side is there a guide or anything that I may want to take a look at on the Dist Points itself or am I just missing something on the package? Thanks
