unable to delete temp files 1

I have a few files in a temporary directory I can't seem to delete. The files are:

C:\Documents and Settings\smith-admin\Local Settings\Temp\Acr1B.tmp
C:\Documents and Settings\smith-admin\Local Settings\Temp\Acr1D.tmp
C:\Documents and Settings\smith-admin\Local Settings\Temp\Acr19.tmp

I think they were created after I used Explorer/Acroread and opened some files on web.

When I try to delete them, a popup message says "Unable to delete: Files being used by another person or program."

I've removed the Explorer and Acroread links from the desktop. Error still comes up. How do I remove those temp files?

I take it you've rebooted?
How about logging in with the local admin account (or another account) and trying to delete them then?

Hadn't rebooted. Did just a moment ago. Was then subsequently able to delete files. Thanks Paul.
