Server 2000 running Exchange 2000

The mailbox does not have the user in AD at all and when I right click on it all the options to purge or reconnect is grayed out.

How do I delete this mail box??????

Please reference my answer in the forum that you cross posted in.

Running Cleanup agent did not get rid of the mail boxes that do not have an account on Active Directory.

Do you have any other Ideas?

You must first run Cleanup Agent, then the mailbox should show up with a red mark on it and be available to be purged.

You're saying that's not happening?

Yes that is what I am saying, they are still not showing up red.

It is possible that the ADC isn't working so ESM hasn't noticed / clean up won't be able to work.

Try running setup in the ADC folder inside Exchange 2000 SP3.

I will have to confess my ignorance, what type of setup are you talking about in the ADC folder.

Please walk me through that.
