Hi,
On TSM 5.1 running on AIX 5.1, I'm not able to create a recovery log volume of file size grater than 2 GB.
I increase the user limit on AIX to unlimited but still I'm having problems.
Please help.
Thanks.

Hi!
You must create a filesystem that enable large file, So you can
create a file that size is great than 2 GB.

Try it.
Goodluck.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
How do I convert a regular file system to a large file enabled file system.
Thanks again.

To enable a filesystem for large files, you need to specify the option "bf=true" when you create it with the crfs or mkfs commands (or use the jfs smit menus).

Thanks.
But how do you convert a existing filesystem to large file enabled filesystem?

Well, I'm under the impression that you have to create the filesystem with this option. So, to convert, you'd back up the existing filesystem and create a new one. But, maybe you want to ask aix support.
