unable to create mailbox - option not available

Hi,

I have just created a new user in the active directory and users. Now I need to setup a mailbox account for this user using the Exchange properties.

However, in the exchange properties (tasks), the create new mailbox is not available. Why is it not available and how do I go creating the mailbox?

That mailbox gets created during user creation, so just double-click the user and go to the Exchange Tabs

You have to create the mailbox from the server running Exchange in AD users and computers, there the exchange tasks are in full mode... do not create a user from another server if you wish to also create a mailbox.
