Hello all,

We have just upgraded our OTM computer and are having trouble trying to access the MDR 2000, either through OTM or direct connect. When trying to connect directly we ar using Hyper Terminal with 8 none and 1. at 9600 baud. However no matter what Comm port we use we can not see the MDR. We have tried ctrl VIM, Crlt VDB. We have tried several different com ports. OTM cannot access it either, even when we did a full restore. However the MDR does access the PBX. Or so says the LED's on both the MDR and the modem to the PBX. Any help would be greately appericated.

Try playing with your baud rate on your hyperterm session. It may have lost its config somehow (powered off??)
Try 1200

Thanks, that was part of the problem. It turned out that the port was bad. I switched it to another port and changed the baud rate and it came up right away. I apperciate your help. Thanks very much.
