Unable to connect to ePO Server 3.0.2a

Hi,
I currently have problems connecting to two different ePO servers. I don't get the usual message "unable to connect...", but the remote console is unable to load the site information. Both servers are in a different domain than the remote console. There is no proxy, no firewall and TCP/IP and named pipes settings seem to be correct. No problem connecting to the server directly. This problem first appeared with 3.0.2a.

Any ideas?

We had the same issue, it was because we didn't log in with 3.0.1 before we upgraded to 3.0.2a, had something to do with 3.0.2a doesn't ask for a password. It was a while back but, we had to reinstall and run 3.0.1 for a few days before we upgraded to 3.0.2a....

It was something crazy like that, hope that helps

I went straight to 3.02a without logging in first and had no such issues. I would try redownloading and reinstalling sp2a a file may have been corrupted during the original install.

After installing 3.0.1 I logged on to the server from its own console without any problems. I didn't try connecting from a remote console. After installing 3.0.2a an trying to connect from a remote console it takes a while for the error message to show up.
I'll first try to re-install SP2a.

Have you upgraded the ePO Console to 3.0.2a with all McAfee ePO hotfixes/patches as well to match the ePO Server? I had a similiar problem where I upgraded the ePO Server to 3.0.2a and all McAfee related hotfixes/patches and when I tried to connect with a plain 3.0.2a console, it failed. After I applied all McAfee ePO hotfixes/patches to match my ePO Server, the console worked fine for me.
