Hi all,
There are a couple interns who bring in personal wireless laptops that need access to one specific network folder. Only the staff is on the domain.
I set them up with an intern login and pass and shortcut link on the desktop to \\SERVER\Files\Word Docs, however it is unable to connect. Only when I change it to \\10.0.1.5\Files\Word Docs, a connection can be made then able to log in with login and pass.
In the wireless router, the static DNS already points to the Domain Controller running DNS. Ah, I also notice that the laptop cannot ping by name or IP to the DNS server. Any suggestions for this?
TIA
