I have imported a report into Info View (that has no parameters), I am able to run the report on Demand, and I am also able to run the report within the CMC Preview. I have tried scheduling using the admin account, when using the publishing wizard and also with a authorized users. But anytime I try to schedule the report I get this error.

I have made sure that the Reportjobobject server for SMTP email is enabled, and I am pretty sure I have the properties set up correctly within there, we created a email account specifically for crystal.

Please help.

Thanks

Hi,
Be sure that the clr-combr.reportjobserver has the correct rights/permissions to access the database used...
( What is the datasource?)

Can you give a little more explaintion on how to check the rights/permissions?

This also may be some of my issue, When I go to the CMC Servers > clr-combr.reportjobserver.jobserver > Check User Rights

and clicked on administrators and I get this error:

Retrieve Error!
There was an error while retrieving data from the server: One or more arguments are invalid.

ok what type of security are you running,, enterprise or active directory? The code you gave indicated that the logon id, does not have the rights or security to get to the database. If you cannot retrieve the rights,, how is the "user", setup, or the owner if you will of the report? This is a security/rights problem, and they can be a pin i the ......

We had an out side source install this and they choose Enterprise for the Crystal Server and I have manually set everyone up in there. But the Microsoft Server that has the Data Sources on the same computer is Active Directory. Could this be my problem?

I have tried to run this both as the administrator and as regular user.

what type of security are you running on the SQL,, change to mixed. It will require stopping and starting the server. Then setup a generic login with read-only rights, try using this for the user and password, for your reports. I would have choosen Active Directory for the authenication. However Ad, does require some work in the CM console. Also,,when you purchased Crystal, you do get some "free", time with the business objects help people, however they are in the "east",, like Asia,, so the time difference, depending on where you are, could be an issue.
