Hi everyone,

I've been trying to team up two nic cards. For some reason I wasn't successful. The load process is quite easy. The cards are the same but they might have different built. My problem now is I cannot put the ipx internel net back the way it was. When I loaded the cards, I've got the message 00103A is in used, so I had to use a different one. I need to use my old one because other services such as backup is using that ipx name.

I reset the router, after getting the message
the router received information from xxxx and sould be yyyy , or something like that.

I've unloaded all services that I thought was using the internal ipx net.

To team up the cards I used

Load EN100SNW NAME=XXX SLOT=7 FRAME=ETHERNET_802.2
LOAD EN100SNW NAME=YYY SLOT=8 FRAME=ETHERNET_802.2
BIND IPX TO XXX
AFT BIND 7 8

This load is forwarding packets from one card to the other. I tested the cards and the both are working.

Please help.

Thanks

Check your load command string again - it looks like you may be missing a paramater or two that defines the pair.

I've checked the load command many times. I've even loaded the above with inetcfg utilities and does the same. By design you can only bind IPX to the primary card.
Bind ipx to xxx .. I I suppose to have the net=... at the end. It's loading the wrong net.

Thanks for your help
