Unable to change Passord thru OWA???? Help!!! 2

Hello Everyone,

Once again I come for help to the best forum there is. ;)

I'm really desperate here.

Our users cannot change the password thru OWA, when their password has expired. They receive the following error:

"The specified username contains invalid characters"

I've tried everything from domain\username format to leaving domain field empty to no avail. Has anynody come accross this issue??

are you using any domain extensions in your domain name?

example: "domain.com" instead of "domain"

First of all thank you very much for your response.

I tried both options "domain.com" and "domain" and none of them work. Also I'm using SSL and I've check the settings with the adsutil and it show the password flag=0.

One thing that I didn't mention is that I have another server on a different site and its working fine. One other thing that I notice is that on the troubled server I have 4 documents on documents tab on iis:

redirect.asp, default.asp, defautl.html, iisstart.asp

I'm wondering if the iistart.asp is causing some kind of problem.

Below is the log with the most relevant info, but I don't see anything Unusual.

Any suggestions that you might have?

Your iis log shows a 302 error, which is a "resource moved" error (/exchange/test.account/ Cmd=logoff 302 - see MS for details: I'd start by checking your OWA server's IIS console for the "ExchangeAdmin" virtual directory. Make sure that it mapped properly.

For some reason the OWA server can't reach or properly connect (authenticate) to the Exchange server.
