Unable to change announcement - while its playing? 1

I have an end user who is responsible for changing announcements periodically (weather hot-line).

Yesterday they could not change one of the announcements. They reported that they dialed the access code, then the announcement # and then had dead air.

Later in the day a tech tried to change it and it worked fine.

I know the end user station is set up properly (console permissions, etc) because they changed two others without a problem (0n diferent announcement boards, but same S8700 system).

One thought was that the announcement was in heavy use at the time they were trying to change it. Would this cause the behavior described?

Any similar experiences?

I'm not sure about not being able to change a recording when it's busy, but it makes since. I looked through all the Avaya docs for you and they don't list that either. Here is one thing I found that may help although I think you have solved this already.
