Unable to break dial tone to dial 3

I am trying to configure incoming auto attendant calls via PRI trunks to hit a ACD configured to be call forwarded(ncfw)to a specific access route which would then be used to access an analog trunk group for making international calls. The problem exists when the route is accessed by users they are unable to break dial tone to dial any international number.
This was working ok when the ACD was forwarding the calls to a digital trunk group.
Any ideas would be helpful?

Posting the RDB and a TNB of one trunk and the ACD might help us figure it out.

Why don't you want to use the digital trunk group you said it works on?

First you should never use LOOP trunks in a PBX, they should be ground and that may be the problem as there isn't any supervision.

You are calling from the outside, Correct? The problem is that the central office is not recieving answer supervision. I have done this in the past with a line going to China.

Dial into local PBX and recieve a greeting that says please hold while your call is bein connected (I recorded that) then I had voice mail transfer to the ACOD in your case 7021. Just a simple announcement that then transfers to 7021. I am assuming you are using callpilot.

This provides answer supervision back to the originating CO and you can then pass DTMF.

A word of warning though...This leaves you vulnerable to hacking. It would be safer if you could route the users through their mailbox which they can 0 out to any number they wanted to dial. Not revert dn but thru dialing. You need to somehow password protect this function or once someone gets this number they will hack you mercilessly.

Ace did not see your post as I was typing. You are correct, but there is still no answer supervision unless the call is physically answered. My previous post shows how I got around that.

But if he continues to use the LOOP trunk, it may not disconnect when they hangup. Nortel is infamous for this.

Thanks for the info from the posts.

I am using MICA for the auto-attendant,the users would get the recording and enter the ACDN # to be routed.
I have only LOOP trunks to use , it can't be changed to GND.

What country are you in?

loop trunks and pbx are a bad mix.. might look at ees in the cdb.. your dtr's are droppiong off prior to the user dialing the digits.. sometimes a # prior to the country code will fix that.. i assume if you dial the acod then the number internally it will work.. may be able to adjust the timers on the trunks or find a asup prompt that needs to be changed....

the problem with tandem calls is they look like a call hack, that is blocked in several loads.. without doing a trac and checking all the code, it could be in 100 places.

I am in the Caribbean- Trinidad and Tobago.

I would look at cdb programming.

Your loop start trunk on a Universal trunk card? Do you have and XFCOT? With the Universal Card and your trunk (LD14) did not see a setting for BTID that you should need. This is for the disconnect time of trunk. Polarity is normally not a problem except in some non-USA locations, check that have seen some Loop Start where call will come in but cannot break dial-tone due to polarity. If problem with incoming calls not always "hitting" reset RGC timer down to 256 in the RDB
