Help!! When i attempting to bakcup Lotus Notes Databases, the backup exits status zero <successful> but upon detailed review, no databases were actually backed up.

Anyone can help on this??

Thanks,

Are you using the Lotus notes agent
or
Just Advance open file agent

if you are not using the Lotus notes agent
add this reg change.

HKlocal machine > Software > Veritas > Engine > Domino

Enable Offline Backup = 1

you will need the open file agent for offline backup

Hope that helps

Thanks for the replies, now I’m able to backup all the .nsf
But I not using any agent for the backup, what I do is schedule the task to shutdown the domino server before backup.

I am not using the Lotus notes agent and I would not like stop the Domino server.

There is any key to change to do this?

Enable OnLine Backup???

See this thread.

thread481-686070 shutdown the Domino Server, go to pre/post commands in Veritas and add the name of the Windows Service that Domino uses. I tested this through a command prompt to ensure that the syntax was correct.
EXAMPLE
Pre command:
net stop "Lotus Domino Server (notesdata)"
Post command:
net start "Lotus Domino Server (notesdata)"

I have a similar problem, but I'm using Arcserve r11.1. When doing a full server backup, .NSF files aren't being backed up, but when I do a specific backup just targeting .NSF, everything runs fine.
