I uninstalled Outlook 98, because it would not let me add a file; such as a Word document as an attachment, it would lock up my system. I have now removed the software and upgraded to Outlook 2000, and the problem still exist! I can not add an attachment, does anyone now a resolution to my problem?

What kind of error are you getting??

Go to Outlook and go to Tools->Options, click on the Security tab and then click on the Attachment Security button.
In here set this to None. Jay~

My new Tae Kwon Do website is up and running!!

Jay. I checked in the Tools-->Options, then the Security Tag. The only information there regards to Digitial IDS and Internet Options. The applications does not recieve an error, it freezes up/locks up, and is not respondant.

Just some thoughts...

Is this a problem with any attachment? Can you attach a simple text file or an image?

If it is just a single Word document only maybe the document is corrupt or the attachment is too large.
If it is any Word document maybe Word is messing up.

Have you tried to email as attachement - (File > Send to > Mail Recipient as Attachemnt)?

Maybe you don't have the right permissions to the file(s) you are trying to attach.

Good Luck. The two rules for success are:
1. Never tell them everything you know.
