What is the maximum, or is there a maximum, size for the SO-RAM for the VM-00? NTAC recommends to use the Corsair VS1GSDS400 SODIMM 1GB DDR 400MHz PC3200 Notebook Memory. 1GB is fairly small nowadays from RAM and not the most readily available. Has anybody used anything larger successfully?

NEC offered only 1 size of RAM for that product. I'd have to go along with their suggestion.

I am not sure what the current models of the VM00 are shipping with, but the one I am working on has 256MB. NTAC is suggesting two options, the Corsair VS1GSDS400 SODIMM 1GB DDR 400MHz PC3200 Notebook Memory module or the Corsair VS512SDS400 SODIMM 512MB DDR 400MHz PC3200 Notebook Memory module. NEC does not sell these and suggests looking at Amazon, Newegg, etc.

I have been unsuccessful in finding the 1GB module. The smallest I can find available from Corsair is 4GB but it is DDR3. Kingstone makes a 2GB DDR3 module but don't know if they are compatible.
