I've been trying to use an old Promise Ultra66 card in my Windows 2003 server but so far haven't been able to find any drivers that will work.

I've tried the ones from the Promise website and several other sources. Has anyone else gotten this card to work? Thanks.

If you can, drive a wooden stake through the heart of that card and bury it deep in the woods with a clove of garlic.

You'll be glad you did.

Well, that is a humorous solution to my problem it doesn't actually help.

Does anyone know of a way to get this card to work under Win2k3?

I kinda concur with LawnBoy, but I'll be nicer in my way of putting it...

buy a new Ultra133 card, they are so cheap these days that fuzzing around with the ancient pre XP hardware is more hassle than it is worth...

Koutech PIR133 PCI IDE Controller Card RAID 0/1/0+1 - Retail $13.99 & $6.99s&h = $21.00

I think I'm going to try the cheap one first. If that doesn't work I'll go for the other one. Thanks again.

You are welcome...

post back with results, ok...
