UK English dictionary is US English!

I am using Appleworks for Mac 6.0.4 and have installed the UK English spelling and hyphenation dictionaries from the CD.

I have then used the - Edit ... Writing Tools ... Select Dictionaries - menu option to select the new dictionary files but it is still insisting on US English spelling. I have even deleted all but the UK English dictionaries but it's still the same.

Has anyone else had this problem and is there a solution?

I found the same thing. I have been searching for a replacement on the web, but without luck yet.

I am experiencing this exact same problem. I have tried to substitute the dictionary file with the uk dictionary from an earlier version of Appleworks (ie Claris) but the does NOT work.

I would be interested to find out if those memebers who have posted on this thread have subsequently managed to find a solution.
