I have performed a UFSDUMP on my Solaris Sun Server for the purpose of restoring Netbackup 6.5 server and have backed up the following filesystems:

/
/usr
/opt
/opt/openv

I am going to do a restore to a same model system (280r) @ our DR site. My question is do I restore all of the above. Or am I really just after /opt & /opt/openv ?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Jmo,
Wouldn't it be easier just to install Nebackup on your other server.

If not, just restoring /opt and /opt/openv will not be enough. There are files created in /usr and /var during software installation and execution of the Netbackup program. There may also be a nfsmount to /opt/openv/netbackup/db/images. This is where the backup images are stored.
