uds10 telnet device

I have a uds10 telnet device connected to an option 81 that is not working. It is set up on tty 12. I have went into ld 37 to try and disable and enable tty12 but it will not let me do it. Am I doing something wrong?

I can't print it now, I have left the site and I can't telnet in so I will have to do it another time.

To prove that your TTY is good your going to have to remove the uds10 and place a Terminal or a PC with a terminal emulation software on that port and see if you can talk to the switch

If I move the dumb terminal over where the telnet device is should it work or is there some configuration that I have to do.

Should work as long as speed, baud, and parity is correct. All though you may need a modem elimitator, depends how the dip switches are DCE or DTE
