Does the IP Office 412 support UDP software?
In the G3 Switch and above, there is a UDP table where I can setup UDP routing first?
If UDP routing is not supported in the basic 412 software package, is it a purchasable module?
hello Kevin
Again thank you for your assistance.
What i have are non consecutive DID's, some of which i want to direct over a line side PRI w/QSIG enabled, to another PBX (non Avaya), ,
With the G3, i can leverage the UDP table (UDP routing first)to send the inbound call to an AAR table which directs it that specific trunk group supporting the other switch, , ,
Can i do the same with the short codes, obviously i'm out my element here with the IPO 412
Go to your incoming call route
If your DDI is already configured there then give it the destination you want
If internal then select the user or group
If external then enter the prefix and the number
That easy it is
If your incoming call route is not defined yet then make a new one
Select the incoming line id the trunk uses (default 0)
Then insert the DDI and give it a destination

Peter is correct. there are a few ways to get this done. What i may do is use system short codes. make the system short codes like this. say 3322 was the DID and you want to route to another PBX.
S/C 3322
Dial
T/N 3322
Line of your QSIG or trunk to other system.
Then you will need an incoming call route
Line 0(or what ever your DID's come in on.)
incoming digits 3322
Destination 3322.
Thats the basic idea. You can also do ranges using xx's and stuff.
