Udp port problem through MS winsock proxy

Hi all,
I'm trying to get a piece of software to comunicate with another that's on the internet. The software uses udp port 9103.

I have opened(?) this port in the proxy by setting the protocol tag to udp and outbound with 9103 as the port and associated the right permission but it refuses to work.

If I bypass the proxy by going on the other side then it works, but unfortunatly this isn't a solution.

Any ideas or comments

Have you installed the MSProxy Client, most winsock applications will require that.
