Is there a guide for migrating configuration and messages from a UCM to a VMPro instance running on Windows? I've searched and found bits and pieces, just want to make sure I don't miss anything.

I'm not sure if there's an actual guide out there, but it's actually not that different from migrating a VM Pro from a computer to a virtual computer or vise versa. The main thing you'll need is a file transferring software. I like using WinSCP. This will allow you to transfer the primary folders, which are Accounts, Names, Greeting, and Wavs out of the UC module. For the Wavs folder, only transfer the wave files, not the system or custom folders. Then use the VM Pro client to export the Call Flow menu trees and then import them into the new voicemail computer and in the same locations.

Why not FTP a backupfile from Voicemail pro client to your laptop. And use that to restore the settings on the new windows VM pro?

I use filezilla to get stuff of the UCM - had some strange recording quality issues, be sure to check them when you have moved over

I tried making a backup via FTP and it restores to the VMPro (but with errors) but doesn't actually download any data. Had no issue pulling the callflow and moving that over. I've tried multiple different backup options. Both versions are the same.
